“I got referred into the project and I didn’t feel crazy talking to Claire. She was calming and reassuring and helped me take back control. She helped me move house and helped with court appointments. I joined the support group and it helped me realise the things he did were abusive. I’ve only recently been able to say I’ve been physically abused. I’ve learned a lot of positives; that I am a good mum and I can do stuff. I’m enjoying building a future thanks to the support I received from everyone at the project.”

Of those living on the streets, 32% of women and 8% of men report that domestic abuse contributed to their homelessness.
We empower people on the path towards long-term safety and independence.
