Senior Project Worker – Next Step Accommodation Project (NSAP)

Basis Beds, Sunderland

Salary:

£19,500 per annum

Full time role:

37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some flexibility to meet the requirements of the post.)

We have a great opportunity to join our fantastic Basis Beds team in Sunderland working on the new Next Steps Accommodation Project. The role is for a Senior Project Worker supporting people who have multiple and complex needs and are in need of housing support, due to a range of different issues related to housing.

 

The Project has been launched to ensure that people who are supported into accommodation through the “everyone in” initiative are given intensive support to remain in their home, preventing tenancy breakdown and a return to homelessness.

 

You should be caring and compassionate, having an inherent determination to see things through with a motivation and a refusal to give up on people. Ideally the successful candidate would have at least 3 years’ experience working in a supportive role and an understanding of working with trauma informed practice.
