Due to the developing situation surrounding coronavirus, we have taken the reluctant decision to suspend our 35th Anniversary Dinner this Friday (March 20th).
Although a very difficult choice, we are confident that this is the right thing to do for the safety of our guests, in light of the pandemic. If one person falls ill then that is too high a cost, however much the event means to us. We also want to recognise that many people will feel safer not attending group events for the immediate future, and support them in that choice.
As the future implications of the virus are unknown, we cannot currently announce a new date, or even determine whether the event can go ahead this year.
Our Executive will assess the situation on a regular basis, and we will keep those who had tickets informed.
For those of you who are able to await our decision, we thank you for your patience and commitment to our work.
Some of you have already contacted us to let us know you had decided not to attend on Friday in the current climate, offering to donate the tickets money you paid to our mission. We are most grateful for this as we anticipate the virus will certainly have an impact on the people we serve and our projects in the months to come. We fully understand that some of our supporters may prefer to receive a refund for the ticket price. Our Head of Fundraising can be contacted at email@example.com to arrange this.
At present, our Black and Gold Ball is scheduled to go ahead on Saturday, October 17th.
Please do get in touch with any further enquiries and we will be more than happy to help.
Wishing you good health,
From all at Oasis Community Housing

On Friday, March 20th we’ll be paying homage to our supporters, our teams and the people we serve through a wonderful evening of festivity at Hilton Gateshead Newcastle. TV’s favourite Reverend, Kate Bottley, and football legend Malcolm Macdonald, will lead the evening, which includes a three course meal with coffee, silent auction, main auction and raffle.
Tickets are £49.50 plus any booking fee.
